JOLT was created in 1985 as a refreshing alternative to coffee, a.k.a. The Espresso of Colas. Included on every can and bottle was the memorable slogan “Twice the Caffeine.” In 2005, JOLT launched their new innovative cool resealable aluminum bottle, a.k.a. JOLT Battery Bottle. In Jan. of 2007 JOLT transitioned itself from an added value soft-drink to a great tasting Energy Drink. JOLT added taurine, guarana, ginsing and tons of B vitamins to make JOLT even more powerful and better tasting than all the other guys! Later in '07 Jolt added two New Flavors to their already delicious-filled lineup, Wild Grape and Orange Blast!
